Dogs in History v. 2
Saur - A dog that was "king" of Norway for three years during the 11th century AD. The briefly deposed king put forth his dog made as one of two choices for a ruler over the nation. The people had to decide whether to have the king’s slave or his dog. The citizens chose Saur over the slave.
